Delete your Sunsafe account and all associated data.

We're sorry to see you go. This page provides all the information you need to permanently delete your Sunsafe account and associated data.

Please read this information carefully before proceeding. Once your account is deleted, the action is irreversible.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Deleting your account will permanently remove your personal and usage data from our systems. This includes:

  • Your full name, phone number, and email address.
  • All content you have created, such as sizing sessions.
  • Your purchase history and saved payment information.

This action cannot be undone, and we will not be able to recover any of your data once it has been deleted.

How to Request Account Deletion

We offer two ways to delete your account. For the fastest results, please use the in-app option.

Method 1: Delete from Within the Application (Recommended)

This is the quickest and most secure way to delete your account.

  1. Log in to your Sunsafe account.
  2. Navigate to your profile by clicking on the Settings icon and selecting "Edit Profile".
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and find the "Delete Account" section.
  4. Click the "Permanently Delete My Account" button.
  5. You will be asked to confirm your password and acknowledge that this action is permanent.
  6. Your account will be scheduled for deletion, which will be processed within 24 hours.

Method 2: Submit a Manual Deletion Request

If you are unable to access your account, you can request deletion by sending an email to our privacy team.

  1. Compose an email to privacy@sunsafe-energy.com .
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
  3. Include the following information in the body of your email:
    • Your full name
    • The phone number registered to the account
    • Your registered email address

I would like to request that my Sunsafe account be permanently deleted.

What Happens After Deletion

After we receive your request, our team will begin the process of deleting your account.

  1. Verification: We may need to contact you to verify your identity before proceeding.
  2. Processing Time: Account deletion requests submitted via email may take up to 30 days to process, in accordance with data protection regulations like the Data Protection Act of Kenya.
  3. Confirmation: You will receive a final confirmation email once the deletion process is complete.
